We set out our concerns over the Old Post Office Site development, especially the height of the "tower"; and our frustration that such an unacceptable design has made it this far through the process. We listened to Councillor Kevin's side and position.
- Kevin has asked St George to re-design the 21 storey building, as he thinks it isn't aesthetically pleasing. He hopes they will come back with a slimmer design, with more glass at the top (to appear less imposing on the skyline) and maybe set back a bit more, potentially tiered.
- He said a 'design review panel' has been looking at the scheme. The panel, made up of architects and experts, carried out the review on Sunday and he would let us know the outcome.
- He also promised us an additional meeting a week prior to the main meeting in June (our 5 mins to present our case) This will be less formal and will give ourselves and St George a chance to talk without the confinements of the officialdom of the Development control committee meeting, which is scheduled for the 10th June.
You can email Kevin Davis directly to let him know your concerns:

Why did we meet Councillor Kevin Davis?
It is essential to work with, influence, and engage with the key people in this development - especially while there is still time and the designs are not yet finalized.
